Tuesday 22nd June 2010

On a lovely summers evening over 40 club members enjoyed a Fish & Chip Supper at the Coach & Horses, Billinghay. Delicious as always, thanks to Sandy and Richard.

Barbecue by kind invitation of Philip Christopher at Quadring on Sunday 27th June 2010

On one of the hottest days of the year so far 30 deg. C. we travelled along to Philips barbecue, could not have been a better day, classic cars nestled majestically amongst the soft curves of the tree lined borders of the gardens.  A delight to the owners of the 12 cars that attended, not one to be missed, as we all sat lazily sipping cool beverages and tasting the fine food cooked on the Barby by Philips brother.  A big thank you to Philip.

In the depths of winter January 2010, (I think we had snow on the ground at that time) we had BCCC’s Annual Luncheon at Boston West Golf Club, several members pledged various events and items which were auctioned for our chosen charity of the year. Sandra & John pledged a BBQ for eight people, a date was fixed and they hoped for good weather! Well the day arrived weather could not have been better, John’s barbecuing skills were excellent, Sandra’s salads and deserts were delicious and the wine was flowing. Many thanks Sandra and John for the lovely evening.
