St. Michaels Run, Billinghay on Sunday 13th June 2010 starting with coffee and delicious croissants at Fred & Doreen Bailey’s Wharncliffe Farm Ruskington. It was a lovely sunny day and a delightful run stopping off at Heckington Church where we climbed 140ish steps to see a wonderful view from the top of the church steeple, then carried on the guided route around some pretty villages and lanes we had not travelled before. Finishing back at Fred & Doreen’s for an excellent tea, same again next year please.

Text Box: Several of Boston Classic Car Club Members joined Spalding and East Elloe Classic Car Club on their 13th Annual Classic Car Run on 6th June 2010 starting with morning coffee at the The Toft County House Hotel & Golf Club at Toft, a lovely run was interrupted by a heavy rain storm half way through just prior to stopping off for lunch at The Golden Pheasant, at Etton. We carried on to the destination which was at The Nene Valley Railway, Wansford, Peterborough. Unfortunately not all of us completed the run John & Sandra Simpson in their 1966 Sunbeam Alpine never started, after coffee their car failed to start, and on further examination discovered it was loosing oil fast! So AA to the rescue.
